The lavishly illustrated book has quotes from the Bible, from St. Francis and others to introduce each topic. Then there are menus with very approachable recipes and ingredients that seem available to all. I will definitely cook some of these recipes, but Ill copy then first to avoid getting the book dirty! 2012
